Originally from Chicago, Anna came to Austin on a whim and never left after falling in love with the city. Following several years as a high school teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, Anna decided to translate the principles of education into a career in real estate. She enjoys working with buyers and sellers, patiently helping them understand the process from beginning to end.
Anna prides herself on listening to what her clients want and being responsive to their questions. A testament to Anna's ability to build meaningful relationships is that many former clients are now some of her closest friends. Anna lives in the Brentwood neighborhood with her husband, her son, Anderson, and their three dogs. It's not uncommon to find Anna at an early morning workout, running on Lady Bird Lake, serving on the PTA or eating at one of Austin's many new restaurants.
Anna studied Secondary English Education and History at the University of Illinois-Urbana and went on to earn her Masters of Science in Instruction from Northeastern Illinois University.
Anna recently worked with me on a home purchase, and I found it incredibly easy and helpful to work with her. I was pretty self-directed through the process of finding the place I liked, but she stepped in with just the right level of advice and support to make it go smoothly, and her in-depth knowledge of the area I was looking at was invaluable. She's also really nice and easy to get along with, so I would highly recommend her.
